StarfishElectronics have built a prototype Startider drum unit which confirms proof of concept, and we are due to commence building the first functioning unit during 07-08.

StarfishElectronics Ltd  launched promotion of StarTider at the All Energy event in Aberdeen on the 23rd and 24th of May. There was tremendous interest in the device and we now have a host of good contacts for construction, third party validation and investment.

To date Shetland Islands Council and Shetland Enterprise have supportend the development of StarTider by funding the construction of the prototype StarTider drum. This established proof of concept so that we are now ready to develop further with larger scale investment.
